Off-plan checklist

Every registered project has one. Ask for it and check it with the Land Department.

Off-plan payments should go into the project's escrow account, never a personal account.

Ask what happens, and what compensation applies, if handover is delayed.

Compare how much is due before and after handover, and any post-handover terms.

Look at the developer's earlier projects: were they delivered on time and as promised?

Budget for the Land Department fee, Oqood registration and yearly service charges.
